April 17th through May 2nd

Students,

Below are the tools that you can utilize to study for your AP / STAAR test broken up by Period. I highly recommend focusing on one period a night and working your way backwards through the content (Starting period 9 and going to period 1).

In addition please utilize your notes and assignments from throughout the year to best prepare yourself for the test. We will be beginning writing boot camp beginning on Monday April 25th if you are concerned about writing beyond what we cover in class I will also provide links to instructions for the individual writing portions of the AP Test.

Remember it is not your job to simply pass the AP / STAAR test it is your job to achieve commended, you represent the city and your school in these tests, so study like it.

True to my word we took a break from notes today. We explored the Vietnam war through the voices of those involved in it. Your homework assignment however is to view the crash course video on Vietnam below and respond to the following prompt right here on the blog.

DUE TUESDAY APRIL 4th

Prompt: To what extent was the course of the Vietnam war decided by the everyday American as opposed to politicians?
