We are working on a comprehensive WWI in class project in small groups. the requirements can be found in the link below, with rubrics available in class. If you are absent for one of these days I will fill you into a group when you are here, and you will be held accountable for one aspect of thats group project. If you are gone both days you will select one of the requirements from the instructions below and create it at home.

Today we rewound time one more time to begin our discussions of the Progressive Era (1890-1920) This will be the last time we have to do this (hurray) and we get to talk about tons of awesome changes to the United States government and society that helped establish several laws that we benefit from today. Today we took a ten question pop quiz, if you were absent drop by my room after school or on your way to A-lunch to take it.

Afterwards we proceeded to go more in depth with dollar diplomacy and its affect on Latin America (creation of Banana Republics) we did a reading and evaluated it in pairs to discuss the pro's and cons of dollar diplomacy.
