March 31st, 2015

Students,

Over the past several class days we evaluated the beginnings of WWII in Europe. We failed to recognize the building conflict that ultimately brought us into the war. Today we fill that gap with a classroom discussion following building tensions between the United States and Japan in the interwar period.

Students,

Today we did research into some of the major conflicts (social / political / economic) of the 1920's. Those of you that are absent are more than able to conduct your research at home via the internet, however those of you that are here will have to settle for the American Pageant text book.

You will be describing each of these blanket events / categories in detail and answering a limited selection of questions. We are almost through with not only the unit but the week, hang in there spring break is just around the corner!

March 2nd, 2015

Students,

Today I conducted an educational experiment by changing up how we take notes to be more like a college class room. We had a class discussion over the Roaring twenties and hit on high points of the era without throwing paragraphs of text onto the screen. Hopefully that translated into your notes.
