Today and tomorrow we will be constructing bumper stickers that illustrate main ideas for the units that we have covered this semester thus far. These four unit cover the same time period 1865-1920 so it is worth revisiting this old content to make sure that you have a grasp on some of the difficult concepts we have encountered. If you are gone please see below for a copy of the ppt which includes a rubric on how grading will be handled for the project.

Today we examined the implementation of Taft's dollar diplomacy through the lens of the United Fruit Company and its exploits in and of Latin America. Linked below is a reading and quick assessment, that led us into a class discussion (for and against sheet) please have the questions and your own arguments for and against Dollar diplomacy completed upon your return if you are absent.
