Today we presented our Andrew Jackson presidential issues posters. You helped your classmates understand The 2nd National Bank, Indian Removal, Tariff of 1828, the Nullification Crisis of 1832, and finally the scandalous Peggy Eaton!

Today we researched key issues surrounding Andrew Jackson's presidency. We worked in groups to identify what exactly was going on, and how it was handled by the "common man" president, or King Andrew the first to his enemies. If you were absent today for Snow White, you will need to complete the following alternate assignment

Today my we took the next step on our long and tiring road of research paper goodness. Most of you successfully evaluated sources for their validity and began tearing into these individual sources for tidbits that will ultimately become your claims in your research paper.

Today we reviewed the early presidents and their accomplishments in an attempt to help you explain how the American political landscape was changing between Washington and Monroe. What were the challenges they were facing, and their defining moments in office.
This helps us create a political narrative that is reflective of the United States as a whole it is quite a bit of fun!

Today we delved deeply into the Market revolution and the quickly evolving American economic landscape.
-Destruction of pre-war practices
-newly defined gender roles
-a boom in infrastructure development
-Laying the foundations of sectionalism in the United States.
The above are the highlights and main points to be had from the Market Revolution. this is a major shift in American economic policy and shows us moving forward technologically and socially as we approach the 20th century. below is a link to the PPT for those that were absent.
