Students,

Over the past several class days we evaluated the beginnings of WWII in Europe. We failed to recognize the building conflict that ultimately brought us into the war. Today we fill that gap with a classroom discussion following building tensions between the United States and Japan in the interwar period.

Today we did a gallery walk of all the posters that were made last week. If you are absent you will need to come in sometime before or after school to complete your own gallery walk. I will be leaving the posters up until our Unit Test!

Today we took a deeper look at New Deal programs and what they actually accomplished during the 1930's. our small groups then brainstormed ideas to solve our own crisis as small groups! If you were absent please download / print the instructions and you should be able to create a form that contains the information that you need!

Today we took a look at the lives of individuals who lived during The Great Depression. By exploring readings and video clips that follows the the lives and hardships of people in some case fictionalized but in others quite real. if you are absent you will need to come get a reading packet from me. You can however, print out the actual form from this website.
