Today we talked about campus wide expectations...

these expectations were covered in different iterations all day; from before school to after school expectations all the way to what Seguin H.S. expects of your behavior in the restroom. Just a reminder we will be having a Website orientation tomorrow.

As mentioned your first assignment "early access" is now available. What follows is a scientific examination of how empathy has played a role in how we as a society have evolved to interact with each other. It really does frame the way in which I try to approach our creation of a historical narrative for US History and will help you understand a little bit more of what to expect from the course. Please watch the video and Answer a), b), and c).

a) create a summary for Jeremy Rifkins vision of empathy.
b) attack or defend the position presented in the video
c) predict how 'empathy' can be applied to history to better understand an event?

Assignment should be no more than 2 pages typed. properly titled and meet the following criteria.

This assignment will be due on Wednesday august 31st at the beginning of class.
