September 1st, 2016

Students,

We dug into what the European powers were actually doing in the new world. Why they were there, how they interacted with the natives and even their motives for expansion and how they chose to accomplish their goals. If you misplace or need another copy of the Graphic Organizer check the link below. (The feedback I have received indicates that you would like me to leave the URL intact instead of making it look pretty)

Meet the Teacher 2016 (August 18th, 2016)

Parents,

Tonight you had an opportunity to meet with me and discuss the direction that we will be taking in United States History during the 2016-2017 school year.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year with your child and would like to take this opportunity to remind both you and your child that I have very high expectations in my classroom, and I expect my students to bring a sense of personal responsibility to my course. Communication between myself and my students is essential for success and the first step that should be taken in any dispute.

As discussed please find links to the Course Syllabi and AP / Dual Credit contracts for your review. All students will receive a physical copy of both of these materials during the first week of school.
