October 1st / 2nd, 2014

Students,

Today we started a mini-research project in class. We are creating a timeline of the American Revolution, examining major events that shaped the outcome of the conflict and the players that influenced its path. This is created entirely from information that you find while researching the American Revolution; what do you think is important? what do you think are key points within the conflict for our independence?

These are tough questions but I am interested in your position and your ability to develop an argument from information that you find working with your group. We will be finishing up this assignment tomorrow and if we have time also presenting the finished product. I would like to reiterate the importance of at home research for this assignment as well, doing some leg work for your group at home will significantly improve your experience tomorrow.
