October 20th, 2014

Students,

Today I took a page out of last Units book and found a strategy that you all seemed to find effective as far as remembering the content is concerned. 90% of you answered questions regarding 'The Acts' of Great Britain towards America (Sugar Act, Stamp Act, Quartering Act, Intolerable Acts, etc.). I feel like this was due to the fact that we covered this particular bit of information on three separate occasions.

In an attempt to replicate this success I am covering some of the major topics from this Unit (Westward Expansion, Hudson River School, The Marshall Court, Missouri compromise, and the second great awakening) by having you research them as a group. We will be revisiting this content a few more times, so that hopefully when it comes time you can recall this information with little struggle, and even comment and draw your own personal conclusions based on the information.

See below for the G.O. we used if you were gone today.
