Students,
Today we looked at how we write thesis for my class when a prompt is provided, and for my Dual Credit students we briefly discussed what was important when you are writing a thesis that is not inspired by a prompt. Remember both cases are dependent on the fact that you are making an argument!
For simplicity sake and in my class you are more than welcome to use the formula
X. a, b, c, Y. (and on occasion Z)
X= counter argument
{abc}= support
Y= your argument
Z= time frame or audience (restrictions of the prompt)
your tests were abysmal...we addressed this today.
