Today we examined the war of 1812. We looked at three different types of sources to fill out a complete set of notes. We examined James Madisons 1812 war message to congress in an attempt to identify the reasons we went to war with Britain at all.
We once again relied upon John Green (I still don't have much of a voice) to examine and explore causes and effects of the war of 1812 on America.
Next we turned to Partners and our good friend Alan Brinkley to fill in the missing details of information.
Being able to address an issue from multiple sources is a great way to create a complete picture of whatever you are creating; be it an AP free response question, or a Dual-Credit research paper. looking a varying sources provides a wide exposure to ideas and view points that construct a more complete view of the topic at hand.
