September 11th, 2014

Students,

Today for a large portion of our day, we talked about the implications and effects of 9/11 on the American landscape. We discussed motivations, build-up of tensions, and the ultimate repercussions of the attacks.

After our discussion of September the 11th we began to investigate DBQ's and how they will be utilized on the AP exam and how we can take the skills practiced in them and apply them to future projects and papers.

HOMEWORK

Your classroom blog discussion assignment is due on Monday September, 15th.

Tomorrow you need to have a thesis statement and 5 pieces of evidence from prior knowledge (aka notes) addressing the following question*;


Although New England and the Chesapeake region were both settled largely by people of English origin, by 1700 the regions had evolved into two distinct societies. Why did this difference in development occur?
