Today we finished up most of the power point we started yesterday and I must applaud you for your stamina. Listening to me talk is not always the most interesting thing in the world but I appreciate your dedication and attention spans. We focused today on some of the individual actions taken by the British to anger the colonists ( Sugar Act, Quartering Act, Stamp Act, Declaratory Act, Townshend Acts[duties]). Both sides harbored great distrust and and resentment towards the others and Britain's actions after the French / Indian war reflect that. Please take a moment to review the few slides we did not finish in class, and write a quick summary at the end of your Cornell notes.

On a positive note we took our retest today, and the results are very promising. I am going to chalk up the performance on our first test to anxiety and not being exposed to my tests before. Now that we've gotten the first one out of the way its smooth sailing from here on out!
REMINDERS
Review the above power point and create your summary for your Cornell notes!
Currently planning on Test around October 2nd!
